Hydroxycut Max Liquid Caplets Reviews

Hydroxycut Max Liquid Caplets have been replaced by Hydroxycut Max Advanced, being one of the 14 products recalled by MuscleTech as of May 1, 2009 after a warning issued by the FDA. It is estimated that over 9 million bottles of Hydroxycut Max Liquid Caplets were sold in 2008 alone, making Hydroxycut Max Liquid Caplets one of the most popular of Hydroxycut products, catering mostly to the female dieter.

The Official Recall

The recall was issued after the FDA received 23 different reports of serious side effects including rhabdomyolysis, liver failure, elevated liver enzymes, heart attack, stroke, and seizures among others as well as the death of one 19 year old man due to severe liver failure reportedly brought on by the use of at least one Hydroxycut product.

Incidences Were Rare, But Serious

While the incidences did not affect every consumer and some would even consider them to be rare, the FDA still considered this to be serious and common enough to draw attention. The FDA has reported that one of the biggest reasons why recalls were made is due to the fact that most complaints were made by consumers who were reportedly limiting themselves to the recommended doses.

Hydroxycut Max Liquid Capsules Have Been Replaced

Hydroxycut Max Liquid Caplets have been replaced by Hydroxycut Max Advanced and a Pro Clinical Hydroxycut Max, two products that are specifically made for female dieters, both of which are considered by most authorities to be safer and more appropriate for the average consumer.
